Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at our neighbors house, drinking B-52s for three hours. We came home and my husband grilled beef shishkabobs (seasoned with salt, etc), with french fries and corn on the cob. Still out of celery, so today I chopped carrots in the food processor and used in my chicken salad. Verdict: acceptable, as good as celery in terms of taste and texture. Much better than portobello mushrooms ( Read more... )

Someone used up all the celery, so I had to make my chicken salad with chopped portobello mushrooms instead today.
 

I will admit, I am an Oprah follower. I watch her regularly and enjoy her show and her advice.

Today I started taking a water pill, in an effort to get the fluid imbalance in my inner ear corrected.

Does anyone know - is there any reason a water pill would make me feel like I'm starving constantly? And gassy(er) than normal?

*Update: It does look like gas and stomach pain are possible side effects.
